The Seminole County Solid Waste Management Division (SWMD) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services to assist with the planning and management of disaster debris collection services for the County. The Contractor is expected to be highly knowledgeable in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) regulations, guidelines, and operating policies. The Contractor will serve to advise and support the County through disaster debris recovery operations. The Question Deadline is now Friday, February 18, 2022 at 10:00AM. Answers should be provided by the County by 2:00PM on Monday, February 21, 2022 Insurance Required Yes Bid Bond Required No Performance Bond Required No M/WBEs are encouraged to participate in the process. Written requests can be submitted via e-mail: thodgkins@seminolecountyfl.gov. If not already required under the Contract, and if requested by the County, the Contractor shall, prior to the commencement of operations, furnish a Performance and Payment Bond, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Florida, in the amount of the estimated contract value, which bond shall be conditioned upon the successful completion of all work, labor, services and materials to be provided and furnished under the contract and the payment of all subcontractors, materials and laborers. Said bonds shall be subject to the approval by the County. This Agreement takes effect on the date of its execution by County and continues for a period of two (2) years. The County reserves the right to reject all bids/proposals, make multiple awards (award to more than one vendor), make a partial award, to waive formalities, to re-solicit and advertise for new bids/proposals, or to cancel the project in its entirety.The County reserves the right to reject the award to any Proposer that fails to provide the insurance as required within the County Award Agreement.
