Sealed bids are invited for the construction of Richard Bland College of William & Mary Academic Innovation Center, project code 241-18337-000, located at 11301 Johnson Road, South Prince George, VA, 23805. The project is generally described as a renovation of a portion of the existing library and construction of an addition to the library building. The facility is a two-story Type IIB construction, with the first floor having a gross footprint area of approximately 26,000sf. The existing first floor contains offices, library space, study spaces, a book shop, and a dining area. The existing second floor contains additional offices and study spaces and totals approximately 10,400sf. The building height is approximately 23-ft. The renovation in the existing area will total approximately 10,000sf of the existing office, library, and study space. The addition to the library will be a two-story addition totaling approximately 14,000sf. The addition will contain classrooms, study spaces, and supporting spaces (i.e. mechanical rooms). A Bid Bond is required.
