Q&A Deadline February 21, 2022 5:00 PM (PST) The County is soliciting proposals from qualified professional firms (Consultants/Contractors) to provide proposals For: 1) To provide the expertise and staffing needs to comprehensively develop and review structural plans, perform independent design calculations and quantities check, and prepare an independent review of structural technical specifications for the Seawall/Revetment Project. 2) To analyze potential environmental effects under CEQA for the maintenance and re-construction of a rock revetment located in Carpinteria, CA. The Public Works Department has evaluated the project concepts and determined that an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is the appropriate level of CEQA review. The purpose of this RFP is to retain an engineering design consultant to comprehensively develop and review structural plans and a consultant/contractor to provide environmental analysis, document preparation, and assistance in CEQA compliance throughout the development and planning of the project. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
