Milan Township is requesting bids for a 40' x 56' x 16' side wall commercial building to be purchased and erected at 14989 Shabbona Road, Shabbona, IL to include: 1 - 24' x 14' insulated overhead door on end wall of building, with operator and remotes 1 - 3' x 6' 8" commercial steel outswing service door with lockset, deadbolt and door closure 1' vented eave and gable overhangs with 6" fascia 3 - 10' ridge vents 36" wainscot siding Concrete perma column posts set on concrete footings, 48" below grade or equivalent Minimum 40 lb. truss load per sq. foot with 4/12 roof pitch Stamped structural building prints Gauge of steel must be specified in bid Requirement to frame side wall with structural header to accommodate a future 20' x 14' overhead door All excess building material must be cleaned from property Total cost must include all delivery fees Alternate #1 - to include an addition 8' of building length to reach 64' Alternate #2 - to include a second 20' x 14' insulated overhead door on side wall of building with operator and remotes The Milan Road District (Milan Township, IL) reserves the right to reject or accept any or all proposals in the best interest of the District and to waive any informalities in the proposal process.
