Sebring Airport Authority (hereafter referred to as SAA ), Highlands County, Sebring, Florida, requests proposals for re-roofing of Building 22. Building 22 is an existing pre-engineered metal maintenance hangar with an office and living quarters component located at the Sebring Airport. Improvements will include: Replace all metal roof panels along with the roof insulation, all fascia, trim, downspouts, and gutters. All windows shall be replaced. Exterior siding and doors shall be pressure washed. First floor ceiling tile will be replaced, ceiling grid to remain. Contractor shall obtain required permits. Take precautions to prevent catastrophic or uncontrolled collapse of structures to be removed; do not allow worker or public access within range of potential collapse. Provide, erect, and maintain temporary barriers and waterproof protection to existing structure as required. Conduct operations to minimize effects on and interference with adjacent structures and occupants. Conduct operations to minimize obstruction of public and private entrances and exits Perform demolition in a manner that maximizes salvage and recycling of materials 22 Reroof ITB #22-01 All Proposals should include at least the following information: a. Description of similar projects the Proposer has completed within the past three (3) years. b. A list of references, including address, telephone number, fax number and e-mail address, for three (3) most recent roofing projects. SAA reserves the right to contact any or all of those customers to verify the information the Proposal provides and ask for positive and negative references. c. Evidence of current Commercial General Liability and Business Auto Insurance with minimum coverage limits of $1,000,000. d. Evidence that the Proposer, and those who may perform work on this project on behalf of the Proposer, is fully licensed in the State of Florida to perform the work necessary to complete the project. e. Signed statement that acknowledges that SAA is a Drug-Free Workplace and that all employees under the Proposal s employment shall be subject to implementation of all possible provisions to maintain a drug-free environment and the Proposal is subject to adherence to and must comply under the provision of Fla. Stat. 287.097. f. Price quotes for providing all services associated with Bldg 22 Reroof, in accordance with the project plans, details, and specifications. Each quote must identify cost of materials and associated taxes. g. Proposed schedule for completing the work. Last day for questions will be February 4th 2022
