Question Submission Close Date 2/4/2022 5:00 PM MST Project Route: Secondary 382; Reference Post (RP) 0.22 - RP 5.85 Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, incidentals and traffic control necessary to produce, haul, place, tack and compact approximately 8,748 tons of 1/2" Commercial Plant Mix Grade S 64-28 asphalt mix material. Approximately 1,126 tons of mix will be placed for leveling course within the project limits. Locations will be designated by the MDT Project Manager. The overlay shall be paved 0.15' feet thick and approximately 25 to 28 feet wide. The project includes 25 private approaches that will be paved out 1.5'. Three county road approaches will have a full apron paved 12' wide. Include approach paving costs in mainline paving costs. Milling work will include a taper on the South project bridge end 50' long and 28' wide. The North project end will be milled 100' long and 26' wide. Final striping will be done by Maintenance Forces. Contractor is responsible for test trailer, transport, and setup. If the Department decides to perform testing at an area lab, this bid item will be deleted from the contract. The quantity is estimated and will be changed accordingly depending on pickup and delivery locations and miles transported. Contractor shall be responsible for all private property damage claims resulting from performance of the tasks described above.
