Site work for a water / sewer project in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work shall include the reconstruction of approximately 3,000 L.F. of 8-inch water main including miscellaneous asphalt, concrete and turf restoration. The work shall also consist of ten private lead water service replacements to homes on the project. Sanitary laterals shall also be replaced with the water services. The private lead water service replacement is being funded through a Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) grant. This portion of the project shall require compliance with Davis-Bacon Wage Rates and American Iron and Steel. We encourage DBE's, including MBE's and WBE's, to submit bid proposals for this work directly as Prime Contractors or to Prime Contractors. The awarded contractor shall be required to provide written documentation that good faith efforts were made in soliciting DBE's for use as subcontractors during the bidding process. DBE solicitation guidance is available on the Wisconsin DNR's website.
