A. Notice to Bidders: Qualified bidders are invited to submit bids for Project as described in this Document according to the Instructions to Bidders. B. Project Identification: 21011 HVAC Replacement for JL Lomax Elementary School. 1. Project Location: 1450 Howell Road, Valdosta, GA 31601. C. Owner: Valdosta City School System. 1. Owner's Representative: Kaci Nobles (Director of Facilities). D. Architect: Altman + Barrett Architects, P.O. Box 665 Hahira, GA 31632. E. Project Description: Project consists of complete replacement of existing wall mounted heat pumps and dedicated outside air units, miscellaneous duct replacement/installation, replacement of control system, lighting replacement, painting, ceiling replacement, metal wall panels, metal studs, and masonry. F. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. General Contract (all trades). Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of [5] percent of thebid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of [60] days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Successful bidder shall begin procuring materials on receipt of the Notice to Proceed (est. March1, 2022) and shall complete the Work prior to August 1, 2022
