The Town of Nantucket, through its Town Administration, invites qualified bidders to submit bids for the supply and/or delivery of Construction Materials for the Nantucket Department of Public Works. This is expected to be a 3-year contract, beginning on or about March 1, 2022. Questions concerning this IFB must be submitted in writing to: Procurement Office, 37 Washington Street, Nantucket, MA 02554 by or before Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 12PM (noon). Questions may be emailed to procurement@nantucket-ma.gov. Bidders must submit a bid deposit of five percent (5%) of the value of the total bid The awarded bidder(s) will be required to furnish the Town with a payment bond in the amount of 50% of the total contract price. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to make such awards as it may deem necessary for the best interest of the Town and to award individual items to individual bidders or the entire set of materials to any bidder. In the event of an equal bid the Town reserves the right to divide the award among two or more in the best interest of the Town. All bids shall be good for the entire contract period.
