Lane County is seeking a licensed engineering firm with the experience and expertise to provide the County with a comprehensive study of the feasibility of providing wastewater collection and treatment services to the unincorporated area of Blue River, Oregon. The intent of this study is to identify and evaluate options for establishing wastewater infrastructure, wastewater management, and organizational frameworks that will best meet the County's goals for redevelopment of the Blue River community following the destruction of the 2020 Holiday Farm Fire. The study will provide information to allow the County to identify the most feasible alternative that would warrant further action in the form of a facility plan or action items to meet the wastewater needs of the Blue River area Questions regarding this RFP may be directed to Dan Hurley, Lane County Public Works Director at dan.hurley@lanecountyor.gov, or by telephone at 541-682-6910. The County may issue an addendum to respond to questions or requests for clarifications, or to modify or add to the terms of the RFP, or change the time or date for submission of proposals. Any such addendum will be issued by the County in writing not less than 72 hours prior to the deadline for receipt of proposals, unless the County determines that a shorter notice period is necessary. The terms, conditions, requirements, clarifications, information, and instructions contained in any addenda issued by the County must be acknowledged, agreed to, and accepted in the proposals received and will become part of any resulting contract. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
