Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Linden, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Description of work : 1. 2021-2022 (Year 47) Union County Community Development Road Improvements The work consists of (8,771) sy milling less than 3", (1,128) tons hma pavement, (510) lf vertical concrete curb, (4) manhole casting/cover replacements, (3) manhole casting/cover resets, (10) reconstruct inlets, (2) bicycle safe grates, (4) curb pieces, (30) lf combination concrete curb and gutter, (125) sy 4-inch concrete sidewalk, (1) manhole replacement, and (1.8) sy detectable warning surfaces for handicap accessible ramps (5 locations). Be advised that federal funds through Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 are being utilized in this project. ALL BIDDERS shall conform to the intention and provisions of Affirmative Action in Public Contracts Laws of State of New Jersey R.S. 10:2-1 of 7/23/75, Assembly Bill No. 2227. BIDDERS are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids should it be in the interest of the City to do so.
