The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified firms to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for consulting services for the preparation of a Transit Strategic Plan (TSP) and the option to renew annually thereafter for continued support with Minor Updates to the TSP for five (5) additional years. The required elements of the TSP are provided by the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) and are included herein as Attachment A, "TSP Guidelines". Questions pertaining to this project should be directed to Jessica Yost, jessica.yost@jamescitycountyva.gov in writing via email. The deadline for submission of written questions is 2:00 pm on February 8, 2022 Bidders shall furnish a bid guaranty in the form of a bid bond, or certified treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible financial institution, be issued by a fully qualified surety company acceptable to WATA and made payable to WATA. The amount of such guaranty shall be equal to five percent (5%) of the bid price. WATA/JCC further reserves the right to: Accept or reject any and all Proposals, or any item or part thereof, or to waive any informalities or irregularities in Proposals; The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
