Site work and paving for a civil project in Warrington, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and for paving for a road / highway.

The project includes the construction of approximately 1,335 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main, jack and boring of 8-inch ductile iron pipe across SR 611 at 2 locations, 585 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron pipe, 2,805 linear feet of 1aEUR K-copper service line, 3 fire hydrant assemblies, connections of 37 services with meters, backflow preventers and pressure reducing valves, and water main appurtenances. Also included is the well abandonment at 15 properties. Construction will occur in State and Township rights-of-way and easement areas, and will involve restoration of roadway, mill and overlay of roadways, lawn areas, traffic control and provisions for all necessary erosion and sedimentation controls in Warrington Township. Base Bid Items consist of the Contractor to furnish and install items.Alternate bid Items included with this project consist of North Wales Water Authority supplying pipe/water main appurtenances where the Contractor will install only. This project is funded through a Cooperative Agreement with the Air National Guard (ANG) as well as an H2O Grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn in the order of North Wales Water Authority, or a Bid Bond in favor of North Wales Water Authority in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening.
