Saving Project...

Site work and outdoor lighting for a road / highway in Escondido, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.

The work to be done consists of retrofitting existing Low-Pressure Sodium ("LPS") and High- Pressure Sodium ("HPS") street lights to LED fixtures. Pre-Qualification for Bidders: Not Required Contractor shall provide the following services in an expeditious manner: 1. Retrofit existing LPS and HPS street lights to LED fixtures for the City of Escondido. The City shall provide the LED fixtures. a. Remove and properly dispose of existing HPS and LPS light fixtures. b. Recyclable material will be recycled. c. Install new LED fixture and photocell provided by City of Escondido. Fixtures will be mounted as close to level as possible. d. Photocell will be faced North and wattage sticker will be affixed if necessary. e. Traffic control, if needed, will be per Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices ("MUTCD") guidelines. f. Contractor will furnish a Bucket Truck, Electrician, and Supervision required for the electrical work. g. Price* includes bond and recycling fees as well as time for loading and unloading trucks at the beginning and end of each day. h. Document and report all retro-fit locations with an exact address, or as close as possible 2. As needed extra labor, such as replacing a fuse, or replacing LPS or HPS bulb with a cityprovided NEW LPS bulb if requested by the City of Escondido.
