2022 Chiller Replacement at Whittier Middle School Questions Due Date: Jan 28th 2022, 12:00 PM CST The Offeror agrees to have the project (including any accepted alternates) substantially complete by July 22, 2022. Description of Work: A. The Work is generally described as 2022 Chiller Replacement at Whittier Middle School in the San Antonio Independent School District. The Work is more particularly described in the drawings, specifications, proposal documents and other Contract Documents prepared by TEESI Engineering. B. There are documents for 2022 Chiller Replacement at Whittier Middle School included in this Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals. The Offeror must submit one Base Proposal indicating the total proposal amount to construct 2022 Chiller Replacement at Whittier Middle School. An individual contract will be written for the project with the aggregate of the contracts equaling the Base Proposal total. C. If awarded, the Contractor must proceed with the Work of the Project as indicated in the Project schedule on the plans. The Project consists of the replacement of air-cooled chillers, associated piping and accessories, chiller pad modifications and controls as per plans and specs. The contractor needs to incorporate relocating existing chiller(s) for fully functional temporary chiller hook-up as per terms and conditions outlined on the plans. The Work will be constructed under a single prime contract. The estimated construction budget is $1,348,200.00 which includes a $64,200.00 contingency Last day of school is Thursday, June 2, 2022. On-Site work (cut off HVAC system) is no sooner than 2:00 PM Friday, June 3, 2022.
