The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) is conducting an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for landscaping services for the Saratoga Springs Train Station in Saratoga Springs, New York. All questions regarding the technical contents of the Invitation for Bid are to be submitted IN WRITING to Stacy Sansky, Director of Procurement Capital District Transportation Authority, 110 Watervliet Avenue, Albany, New York 12206 (518-437-8342, sdsansky@cdta.org) by February 3, 2022 at 11:00AM. The contract for the above will be awarded to the contractor with lowest bid. The Authority requires that all bids be responsive to this invitation and that bidders be responsible. The Authority will follow established procedures for determining the responsibility of bidders. The Authority hereby notifies all potential service providers that disadvantaged, minority and women-owned business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this notice and there will be no discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, sex, national origin, disability or marital status in the award of the contract or any subcontract. The complete Invitation for Bids may be obtained free of charge at our website on or after January 20, 2022. Only vendors who complete the online vendor registration form will be able to access the IFB. The contract will be for 3 years with two 1-year options. Award of contract will be based on a season price for landscaping the first year along with the cost of mulching during the first and third year. After the first year, each additional year will be increased by the Consumer Price Index, all urban consumers (1982-1984-100) along with any increase in prevailing wage rates from the previous year. Annual payment will be divided into 7 monthly payments beginning in May of each year. As this is a prevailing wage bid all labor must be at current prevailing wage rates.
