Spartanburg County School District 2 is located in the northwestern part of Spartanburg County, and includes the Town of Chesnee and the communities of Boiling Springs, Fingerville, and Mayo. A small portion of the District is located in Cherokee County. The District encompasses a land area of approximately 134 square miles. The District is made up of 2 high schools, 3 middle schools, 1 intermediate school, and 8 elementary schools. The District currently has an annual budget of over $93 million, and over 10,000 students including pre-K, and employs approximately 1,250 employees.
