You are hereby invited to submit sealed bids for the cleaning, inspecting, assessing potential and actual leaks, and repairing the Clearwells #2, #3, and #4 at the RB Sims DWTP. The Spartanburg Water System is a political subdivision of the City of Spartanburg, overseen by the Commission of Public Works of the City of Spartanburg, South Carolina. (referred to as Owner). Anticipated Award : September 27, 2023 Scope of Work: clean the floors of three (3) clearwell tanks, inspect for leaks and make the necessary repairs using approved material and methods. i. Clearwell #2 1.5MG, 5 BAFFLES 107'd ii. Clearwell #3 1.5MG, 4 BAFFLES 107'd iii. Clearwell #4 3MG, 6 BAFFLES 158'd b. Two tanks contain sand and heavy sediment; therefore, requiring special handling. c. Clearwell tanks #3 and #4 will require inspecting for leaks and application of NSF approved epoxy for such leaks. d. Inspections require video recordings of live and still images.
