Site work and paving for a road / highway in Medford, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
General work consists of improvements to Perkinstown Avenue from Lake Ridge Road to CTH E. Specific work consist of sawcuts; demolition; asphalt pavement removal; asphalt pavement pulverizing and relaying; stripping topsoil; common excavation; importing, placing, compacting gravel base as necessary per designed grades in preparation for paving asphalt; paving asphaltic binder and surface; performing proof roll of all gravel base areas; guardrail installation; restore "green areas" with topsoil, seeding, and mulching; inlet protection and silt fence installation and removal; coordination and scheduling with the Owner and miscellaneous items per plans/specifications. Upon start of work, the contractor will have 21 calendar days to complete the work. Work will need to be coordinated with Town of Hammel to minimize disruption. All bids must be accompanied with a Bid Security Bond, Cashier's Check, or Certifi ed Check for the amount of 5% of the provided bid. Successful contractors shall be required to provide Performance and Payment bonds, in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, at the time of awarded bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all Bids. No bid shall be withdrawn until 60 days after the time stated for receipt of Bids.
