Renovation of a mixed-use development in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The School District of Philadelphia (the "School District") issues this Request for Proposals No. NG10086 (the "RFQ") to seek proposals ("Proposals") from licensed electrical contractor(s) with knowledge of EMT conduit installations, low and high voltage wiring, the installation and operation of IP based CCTV surveillance systems as well as analog to digital CCTV conversions. The purpose is to install digital CCTV surveillance systems where there is currently no camera coverage or upgrade to digital where there is currently an analog system. This RFQ includes and incorporates Appendices A - M; please review each Appendix carefully. The School District of Philadelphia has over three hundred properties. The majority of them have older analog CCTV systems so we are seeking a licensed electrical contractor(s) to work on upgrading these properties to digital not only to stay current but also to ensure the sustainability of our systems The MWBE participation range for this solicitation is 10-15%. For more information, see Appendix E. For purposes of this RFQ, "Persons" include corporate and other entities receiving this RFQ, who may contemplate submitting a Proposal; "Proposers" means Persons who properly and timely submit a Proposal; and "Contractor" means a Proposer who has executed and delivered a definitive Contract to carry out some or all of the work set forth in this RFQ and its Proposal.
