The work includes demolition of existing A/C system in area 3C (RTU 3-3), existing ductwork, and suspended ceiling. Provide VFD HVAC system with emergency shutoff switch, ductwork, and controls. Provide an elevated steel platform on the roof to support the air handling unit and augment the existing roof ductwork penetrations. Provide suspended ceiling and LED light fixtures with updated controls. Existing fire alarm signals, speakers, and other appurtenances that are on the existing ceiling are to be temporarily supported or removed, salvaged, and reinstalled to the ceiling. Proposals good for 60 calendar days, this is a hand delivered submission. Late submissions may not be considered (let us know of any delays). RFI's are due May 9, 2022. Wage Scale is General Decision: PA20220003 02/25/2022. Site Visit: In accordance with FAR 52.236-27 -Site Visit (Construction) (Feb 1995), an organized site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 10:00AM Local time. Only one site visit will be conducted. Contractors are to meet at the parking area in front of Bldg. 3 at Naval Support Activity Philadelphia, PA 19111. Site visit arrangements can be made by contacting Doyon. The Naval Support Activity Philadelphia is a secure navy installation. All visitors shall be required to present 2 forms of documentation evidencing personal identification and firm affiliation.
