Renovation of a municipal facility in Tyler, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,163-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.
BUILDINGS No. 108027 SITE No. 109656 ESTIMATED COST: $60,000.00 BID GUARANTY/BID BOND: $1,000.00 Pre-qualification of contractors on facility contracts is waived; however, the Uniform General Conditions included in each proposal document outlines specific requirements for contract award. Furthermore, if the project estimate and/or contractor's estimate is greater than or equal to $100,000, the use of Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs) is mandated and a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) is required and must be submitted with proposal package. Owner reserves the right to conduct minor work with his own forces or separate contractors during the construction. Work will be coordinated with the contractor along the general demarcation line shown on the civil drawings. INCOMPLETE PROPOSAL PACKAGES WILL BE REJECTED The scope of work includes removal and disposal of existing modified bituminous roofing system, cant strips and roof insulation down to the existing light weight concrete deck. Remove abandoned roof hatch metal cover. Remove and reuse existing metal counterflashing and replace any damage pieces. Carefully remove and reinstall existing collector boxes and dowspouts as necessary to perform work. Verify condition of existing roof drains and strainers and replace as necessary to ensure no roof leaks. Install new polyisocyanurate insulation, polyisocyanurate tapered insulation (1/8" / 1'-0") as indicated in drawings, 1/2" H.D. cover board, and new 60 mil. TPO, class "A" fire rated, fully adhered. FM-I90 single-ply roofing system. Install, TPO coated metal at overflow scuppers, seal all joint at existing coping stones.
