**As of March 14, 2022, This project has been awarded to Ferguson Waterworks, with the awarded amount of $5,841,458.88 .** Advanced Metering Infrastructure (Ami), Water Meters, and Equipment Installation Bid Bond (Certified Check or Cashier's Check for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid submitted unless otherwise specified) Bids cannot be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days following the bid opening. The City anticipates the contract will be awarded and the notice to proceed will be issued by early April 2022. All work must be completed within 365 calendar days after the issuance of Notice to Proceed, but not later than May 1, 2023. The City of Fairfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to correct or waive irregularities in bids should it be deemed in the best interest of the City of Fairfield, Ohio to do so. This project consists of a three-hundred and sixty-five (365) day contract covering Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), water meters, and equipment installation for the City of Fairfield (Owner), Ohio and shall not necessarily be limited to the items and/or quantitiesset forth in this proposal. Contract to include but is not limited to: provision and installation of fixed network base station(s) and compatible repeater unit(s) and all related hardware; provision and installation of compatible 5/8" x 3/4 " to 2" water meters with integrated RF-enabled and fully wireless endpoints; provision and installation of compatible larger-diameter water meters with RF-enabled endpoints; and provision of and training on all necessary AMI and AMR software systems as required to operate the system including network hosting software and meter data management software.
