Bid Bond 5.00% Payment Bond 0.00% Performance Bond 100.00% Bid Valid 90 Days Pre-Bid Meeting No Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 02/03/2022 12:00 PM (EST) Locations - 3225 Warsaw, 3225 Maple, 328 Islington, 2256 Rosewood The work of this bid category includes but is not limited to providing all labor, equipment, materials, scaffolding, hoisting and incidentals necessary to complete all debris removal services in accordance with City of Toledo and State of Ohio requirements. The City of Toledo, Division of Code Enforcement, is seeking bids from qualified contractors to remove and dispose of non-asbestos containing materials (ACM) at: 3225 Warsaw, 3225 Maple, 328 Islington, 2256 Rosewood Toledo, Ohio. Selected contractor will perform the following duties: removal of all non-ACM materials (environmental survey is complete, all contaminates have been removed), and provide a manifest stating that all non-asbestos containing materials have been legally removed with proper disposal. Copies of all reports validating the identification and removal of non-asbestos containing materials shall be submitted upon completion. a. Demolish all structures and outbuildings on the property, all paved surfaces, including driveways, private walkways, and patios, all fencing unless otherwise noted, and remove all vegetation and minor trees in the path of any equipment. b. At the same time demolition on the site occurs, remove all debris from the site and haul to an appropriate landfill for disposal, and make available verified original receipts from a licensed land fill evidencing that the debris has been disposed of in a proper manner when requested. c. Remove and dispose the foundation to at least 18 inches below the finished grade, leaving no building debris within the cavity, and crush the basement floor to allow for proper drainage at the site. d. Retain sidewalks and public right of ways unless otherwise indicated. Damage to a sidewalk or public right of way must be corrected or repaired within 30 days from the date of damage. e. Fill the foundation cavity with non-contaminated materials that meet or exceed the trade standard to the final grade of the site, and provide a finished site that is level and free from debris, including along lot lines, and that is properly graded and compacted. f. Cover the site with at least 1" of top soil, hydro-seed or hand seed the site, with an agreedupon mixture of grass seed and white clover, at a rate of 6 pounds per 1000 square feet, provide a cover of straw if necessary, and ensure that cover is growing on the site and that the site can be safely maintained. g. Provide all necessary protections and take all necessary precautions that are required to protect workers and bystanders from injury during the entirety of the demolition process, including notice at least 48 hours in advance of the work to adjacent neighbors to mitigate exposure to dust and other particulate matter h. Maintain the property and keep the property and surrounding area clean and free from debris on a daily basis during the course of demolition and following completion of demolition. i. Perform all work in a professional, safe and workmanlike manner, and not undertake or participate in any unlawful activities.
