This project generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to remove two (2) existing booster pump and motor assemblies, discharge heads, and related materials; install two (2) Contractor furnished vertical turbine pumps, vertical hollow shaft motors, discharge heads, and all appurtenant materials; chlorinate the suction cans and pumping assemblies; and complete efficiency tests and vibration tests; in accordance with the specifications. To be eligible to submit a bid, the Bidder, or subcontractor, must possess a valid State of Hawai Prospective bidders must file with the Manager-Chief Engineer their "Intent to Bid" no later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the time advertised for opening of bids. The original executed and notarized Standard Qualification Questionnaire for Offerors form ("SQQ") provided by the Department of Water Supply is required to be filed with the Manager-Chief Engineer for evaluation no later than eight (8) days prior to the time advertised for the opening of bids unless the bidder has previously filed a Questionnaire within the previous two (2) years of the date of opening of bids The Department of Water Supply reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, and to waive informalities
