The Project consists of furnishing all labor, material and equipment for the cleaning and sanitary sewer evaluation services by video survey/recording of approximately 500,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer gravity collection lines of varying diameters, as well as inspection of 2,180 manholes in within Miami-Dade County, Florida. The work in the sewer line shall be accomplished through manholes, without disturbing the street surface or adjacent property or any utility. The Department reserves the right to modify and prioritize the locations. Video recordings shall be submitted documenting all inspections. The overall project is to be completed within a 365-calendar day period starting from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The work also includes maintain sewage flow during construction by Contractor's means and method require using vacuum track, tanker truck, fixed axle tank or bypass pumping intercept the laterals or plugging and monitoring and traffic control, proper and legal disposal of removed materials, and all other appurtenant and miscellaneous related items and work necessary for a completed project. The terms "work", "construction" and "cleaning" shall each be construed to denote any and all activities under this contract, regardless of its nature. The Department has allocated certain funds for this project. Should the amounts bid exceed expected levels, the Department reserves the right to either reduce quantities and/or delete elements of work while proceeding at the prices bid or reject bids and re-advertise at its sole discretion. The County does not guarantee that the full amount of the Contract will be issued to the Contractor. The actual amount of Work Orders assigned is a prerogative of the County in its sole discretion and the dependent only on its needs. The combined total for all work authorized by the Work Orders shall not exceed the Contract Award amount. The Contractor must certify that he has a minimum of two (2) crews in order to complete the work in a timely fashion.
