Site work for a religious / funeral development in Norton Shores, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a religious / funeral development.
The City of Norton Shores is seeking sealed bids for the site clearing and preparations of approximately 3.3 acres for the City's Ellis Road Cemetery Phase 1 Site Clearing project. The Site is located at 1265 E. Ellis Road, along the north side of the road and just east of US-31. The work will include site clearing, erosion control measures, street sweeping, and project clean-up. The project consists of site clearing for Phase 1 of the Ellis Road Cemetery along with appurtenances and miscellaneous related items. Construction shall be per the Michigan Department of Transportation 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction or as modified herein. The Contractor may begin the work once a Notice to Proceed has been issued. All work must be complete by May 27, 2022, or four (4) weeks after the start of work, whichever is sooner. A certified check, bank draft, or bid bond in the sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal will be required with each bid. The City will award the project in a manner determined to be in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids in the best interest of the City.
