Site work and paving for a road / highway in Norton Shores, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of September 15 2023, the project awarded to Michigan paving & materials Co. for $1,148,219.61. The project consists of placement of HMA pavement milling, proof rolling, placement of aggregate, pavement marking, appurtenances and miscellaneous related items. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractors to coordinate their work on the other concurrent project. The milling and resurfacing work does not need to wait Construction shall be in accordance with the Michigan Department of Transportation 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction. The project shall be completed by October 15, 2023. A certified check, bank draft, or bid bond in the sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal will be required with each bid. The City will award the project in a manner determined to be in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids in the best interest of the City.
