Site work for a water / sewer project in Hopewell Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
1. A bond for the full amount of the bid, or 2. A certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. Upon entering a contract, a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the project will be required. The awarding agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities when the same are to the agency's advantage. Furnish all material, labor and equipment to place approximately 5,075 tons of Type C, rock channel protection on 2,900 linear feet of channel slope. Said rock channel protection to be constructed on the banks of the Beaver Creek, Liberty Township, Mercer County, Ohio in accordance with the plans and specifications. Project for Beaver Creek is located along 2,900 feet ofthe north bank beginning at the Burrville Road bridge and extending in a westerly/northwesterly direction to the Prairie Ditch (open drainage ditch), or to a point determined by the Mercer County Engineer after completion ofthe installation of approximately 3,760 cubic yards ofmaterial (5,075 tons). The conversion factor used for this project for Type C is 2700 pounds = One cubic yard. (1.35 tons per C.Y.)
