The Base Bid work consists of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining of approximately 4,881 linear feet of 8" pipe, 819 linear feet of 10" pipe, and 841 linear feet of 12" pipe. The Base Bid work listed includes approximately 99 sanitary service lateral reinstatements. Alternate Bid work may consist of CIPP lining of up to approximately 712 linear feet of 8" pipe, 940 linear feet of 10" pipe - all work is throughout the City of Watertown. Est. Completion Date: Nov. 4, 2022 Pre-Bid Meeting Info: There will not be a Prebid meeting for this project. Bidding documents and sanitary sewer television videos may be examined at the Wastewater Treatment Plant by appointment. All Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's, certified or bank check, or a Bid Bond equal to at least five percent of the total Bid, made payable to the City of Watertown, such guarantee to be forfeited should the successful Bidder fail to enter into the contract. This contract requires electronic bid bonds which may be submitted through Surety 2000 The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each equal to 100 percent of the contract price. The City of Watertown reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for sixty (60) days after the time set for opening Bids. Bidders shall prequalify with the City on forms in the bidding documents or on forms supplied by the Contractor not less than five (5) days before the opening of Bids.
