The owner has selected a Design Builder. The County of San Luis Obispo (County) is requesting Proposals from the Design-Build Entities (D-BE's) who have been pre-qualified and shortlisted through the County's Request for Statement of Qualifications (RSOQ) process for the County's New Co-Located Dispatch Facility (Project) to be located at 356 Main Street in Templeton, CA. In accordance with the provisions of Public Contract Code (PCC) Sections 22160-22169, the County is utilizing a two-step process and Best Value Method to pre-qualify, select, and award a design build contract. The first step in this process, the RSOQ No. 1521, was completed November 12, 2020. The three (3) highest ranking qualified D-BEs are as follows: Bernards, San Luis Obispo CA Diani Building Corp., Santa Maria CA Anderson Burton Construction Inc, Arroyo Grande CA These three (3) D-BEs are eligible to advance to the second step in the Selection process, the Request for Proposals (RFP). Proposals will be accepted from these three D-BEs. D-BE Submittals that rank below the three (3) highest-scoring Submittals may be eligible to participate in the RFP process as alternates should one of the three (3) highest-scoring D-BE Submittals request removal from the RFP process. Alternates to be selected on a next highest score basis. The project design and construction is up to $20,600,000. The County will utilize a Best Value Design Build selection method during the RFP process. County will reject Proposals received after the specified time and will return such Proposals to the Proposers unopened.
