If unable t o attend, arrangements may be made to meet with Billy Henry, Building Superintendent. Failure to attend a pre-bid meeting will result in disqualification from the bidding process. All bids must be submitted on the printed bid forms provided in the bid packet. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Sports & Recreation Office Roofing Project." Each sealed bid submitted shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond written by a surety company acceptable to the City of Woodward, or a Certified Check in the amount of five (5) percent of the total bid, which may be retained by the City of Woodward until the contract for the project is awarded. The Bid Bond of the successful bidder will be returned when satisfactory Contract security, i.e. Performance Bond, etc., has been furnished to the City of Woodward by the Contractor. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for at least sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. All Bidders are encouraged to make a diligent review of the job site and direct all inquiries to Billy Henry, Building Superintendent at (580) 273- 3775. The City of Woodward, Oklahoma reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids, or portions thereof, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Re-roofing the City ofWoodward Sports Complex as specified. Re-roofing requires the removal of existing roofing down to the roof deck, repairing decks as needed, and installing new insulation and re-covering with Duro-Last roofing system or equivalent. Bidders are to measure to their satisfaction and bid complete roofreplacement, with required material of 50 mil thickness at minimum.
