The Board of Miami County Commissioners, through its Sanitary Engineering Department, intends to contract for civil engineering services in connection with the Casstown Water Extension Project. Statements of Qualifications should include information regarding the firm's history; education and experience of owners and key technical personnel; the technical expertise of the firm's current staff; the firm's experience in designing similar projects; availability of staff; the firm's equipment and facilities; references; and any previous work performed for the Board of Miami County Commissioners. As required by Ohio Revised Code 153.65-73, responding firms will be evaluated and ranked in order of their qualifications. Following this evaluation, the Board of Miami County Commissioners will enter into contract negotiations with the most highly qualified firm. The preliminary project description is as follows: Name of Project -Casstown Water Extension Project Location-East side of the City of Troy, along State Route 55, located in Miami County, Ohio Description-Installation of 6,500 L.F. of 12" C-909 Water Main, 3,400 L.F. of 8" C-909 Water Main and Water Booster Station from Sayers Road to the Village of Casstown along State Route 55 Estimated Total Cost-$3,000,000.00 (Including engineering, construction and contingencies.)
