2022 Flooring Renovations at: Marya Yates, Woodgate Elementary School, Neil Armstrong and Sieden Prairie Elementary Schools Anticipated Award of Contract date: March 9, 2022 If only digital files of bidding documents are requested, a one time non-refundable fee of $15.00 (payable to Gill Reprographics, Inc.) can be paid.
Anticipated Start of Construction: Phase 1 - March 15, 2022 Phase 2 - June 15, 2022 E. Anticipated Substantial Completion date: August 5, 2022 Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cash in an amount equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Should a bid bond be submitted, the bid bond shall be payable to the Board of Education, Elementary School District 159. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the District. Approximate range of construction cost will be $250,000 to $275,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Scope of Work will occur at Mayra Yates Elementary School, 6161 Allemong Drive, Matteson, Illinois 60443, Woodgate Elementary School, 101 Central Avenue, Matteson, Illinois 60443, Neil Armstrong Elementary School, 5030 Imperial Drive, Richton Park, Illinois 60471 and Sieden Prairie Elementary School, 725 Notre Dame, Matteson, Illinois 60443. Approximate range of construction cost will be $250,000.00 to $275,000.00. Major scope of work items will include, but shall not be limited to, the following:
1) Existing Flooring Removal
2) Concrete Leveling and Substrate Preparation
3) Resilient Flooring Installation
