PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 14 months The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District is seeking firms with demonstrated capabilities and experience for construction services necessary to beprovided for the US Army Corps of Engineers - St. Louis, Missouri. This requirement is for Mel Price Flood Control Project - Reach II. Work includes but is not limited to the installation of twenty-five (25) partially penetrating 10- inch diameter stainless steel relief wells which will be placed in manholes and modifying twenty-five (25) existing D-type relief wells to be placed in manholes. This project will include extensive dewatering features due to elevated groundwater conditions from the Mississippi river, concrete ditch and outlet channel installation, access road installation with geotextile and geogrid in soft soil wetlands, extending existing IDOT storm drains, rip rap and articulated concrete mattress placement, and installation and setup of automated piezometers near Alton, IL immediately upstream from Mel Price Lock and Dam.
