New construction of a warehouse / distribution facility in Church Rock, New Mexico. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a warehouse / distribution facility.

To plan, design, construct, furnish and equip a new metal-framed New Warehouse, Churchrock Chapter, McKinley County. The project has an environmental assessment and archaeological compliance completed. The land has been withdrawn for this construction project. The project will be implemented in three phases with Navajo Nation Capital Projects Management Department as the lead agency and the Navajo Nation as the fiscal agent. Phase 1 will be to develop: Design, Plan, and specification to build the 150,000 sq. ft. new building. The type of building and construction will be determined during the design phase of the project. All civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical drawings will be coordinated through a hired Architect to meet all local, state and federal codes. Phase 2 will consist of utilizing the state funds to construct the new building to a full turn-key facility. Phase 3 is to furnish the center with updated equipment necessary to operate a New Warehouse. The chapter will follow the Navajo Nation and the State of New Mexico procurement laws. The project will be bid out to the contractor and then a contractor will be selected. This project is in included in the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration's FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
