Site work and paving for a road / highway in Concord Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Estimate of Cost: $700,000.00 to $780,000.00 The work covered by the plans and specifications includes: pavement planning, fabric innerlayer, asphalt intermediate course, asphalt surface course, chip seal surface course, and related items. All work under this contract shall be completed by July 29, 2022. A. Concord Township Roadways Breezewood Drive, Brian Drive, Clearlake Drive, Conley Road, David Drive, Nature View Court, Ridgewater Drive, and Stonewycke Drive are existing asphalt concrete roads. Brian Drive and David Drive shall be planed at a depth of three inches (3") and have three inches (3") of asphalt concrete installed with a fabric innerlayer. Breezewood Drive, Clearlake Drive, Conley Road, and Ridgewater Drive shall be planed at a depth of one and one-half inches (1 1/2 ") and have oneand one-half inches (1 1/2 ") of asphalt concrete installed with a single chip surface.Nature View Court and Stonewycke Drive shall be planed at a depth of one and three-quarter inches (1 3/4 ") and have one and three-quarter inches (1 3/4 ") of asphalt concrete installed with a fabric innerlayer. B. Painesville Township Roadways Adelaide Avenue, Allen Avenue, Chatham Drive, Florence Road, Pebble Beach Cove, and Tradewinds Cove are existing asphalt concrete roads. Adelaide Avenue, Allen Avenue, and Chatham Drive shall be planed at a depth of three inches (3") and have three inches (3") of asphalt concrete installed with a fabric innerlayer. Florence Avenue shall be planed at a depth of three and one-half inches (3 1/2 ") and have three and one-half inches (3 1/2 ") of asphalt concrete installed with a fabric innerlayer. Pebble Beach Cove and Tradewinds Cove shall be planed at a depth of one one-half (1 1/2 ") and have one and one-half inches (11/2 ") of asphalt concrete installed. All online bidders must register with Bid Express to bid on projects (please allow time for processing). Submission of an online bid requires payment to Bid Express of $35/bid, or a monthly subscription of $50 for unlimited bidding. Bidders shall allow the County up to three business days for printing of paper bid documents. The work covered by the plans and specifications includes: pavement planning, fabric interlayer, asphalt intermediate course, asphalt surface course, chip seal surface course, and related items. All online Bidders must submit original within 3 days of bid opening. Should any bid be rejected said surety shall forthwith be returned to the bidder and should any bid be accepted such bid bond, certified check, cashier s check, or letter of credit will be returned to the bidder upon proper execution and securing of the contract. All online Bidders must submit their original Form of Non-collusion Affidavit within 3 days of bid opening to be considered a complete bid. No bidder shall be considered a responsive and responsible bidder or eligible to be awarded the contract to which this Notice or Bid Specifications apply, if the bidder is listed on the Auditor of State s Database as having a Finding of Recovery as that term is defined in R.C. 9.24. Bids shall be subject to the conditions that the right is reserved to hold bids for a period not longer than sixty (60) days after date of bid opening and/or to award the contract at any time during said period. In case of failure to execute the contract as stated or to furnish bond and/or surety, the bidder shall be considered to have abandoned the contract and is then liable for the difference between his/her bid and the next lowest bid, not to exceed ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The Board of Trustees of Concord Township and the Board of Trustees of Painesville Township reserve the right to reject any or all bids, or to increase or decrease or omit any item or items and/or to award to the lowest and/or best bidder. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in thesame. Wage Rates Each employee employed by the contractor or any subcontractor and engaged in work on the project under this contract shall be paid prevailing wage rates for Public Improvements as provided by the appropriate Sections of the Ohio Revised Code.
