the Swatara Creek Floodplain Restoration Phase III: Wolfes Road Restoration Project. The project includes streambank stabilization, floodplain restoration, wetland creation, and fish habitat enhancement along a section of the Upper Little Swatara Creek.The project area is located in Washington Township, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Work will involve placing rock and log structures within the stream channel, earthwork, erosion and sediment control plan implementation, and planting the site with native vegetation. All fill materials will be disposed of out of the floodplain and out of any wetlands. Contractors are required to address all conditions of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP)/ United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) stream encroachment approvals and erosion and sediment control measures required by the Schuylkill Conservation District and PADEP Chapter 102 regulations. Contractors should be ready to start work by June 1, 2022. All work must be completed by April 30, 2023.
