Site work and paving for a civil project in Bradley Beach, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Work shall consist of clearing and preparing the site; saw cut, and pavement removal; excavation; removal of existing sanitary pipe and structures, install approximately 12,103 feet of various size pvc sanitary sewer main with manholes, 10,150 feet of 4 laterals, and cleanouts, including various size storm drain pipe with manholes and inlets; backfill and compaction; trench restoration; concrete work; milling; HMA overlay; site restoration and other miscellaneous related work. Bids must be made on the standard proposal form in a manner designated therein and required by the specifications. They shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to the Borough of Bradley Beach bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, his address and the name of the contract for which the bid is submitted. Bids must be accompanied by a certificate from a surety company stating that it will provide the specified performance and maintenance bonds in the event that the contract is awarded to the bidder. Bidders should be aware, that due to the construction cost of the project, the Borough may need to have the bids reviewed by DCA prior to award of contract. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond for ten percent of the amount of the bid, not to exceed $20,000, drawn upon an incorporated bank or trust company, payable to the Borough of Bradley Beach as guarantee that in case the contract is awarded the bidder, he will, within ten days thereafter execute such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond. Upon failure to do so, he shall forfeit the deposit as a partial satisfaction of liquidated damages and the acceptance of the bid will be contingent upon fulfillment of this re-quirement by the bidder. The checks of all bidders will be returned according to law. No interest shall be allowed upon any such check. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c, 127. N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action) & P.L. 1977, C-33 (Ownership Disclosure). The Contract shall be awarded, or all bids rejected, within sixty days from the receipt of bids or within such extensions of time as permitted by law. The Borough of Bradley Beach reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive informality of any bid.
