From qualified contractors for 2022 Slab Replacement Project "A", which consists of the replacement of selected street slabs in the Victoria's Ridge, Villages at Prairie Bluffs, Newport Meadows, Albany, Fox Ridge, Midland Business Park, Stone Meadows, and Golf Club of Wentzville subdivisions. This solicitation includes potential for Slab Replacement Project "B". Question Cutoff Date: 2/4/2022 03:00 PM (ET) Bid bond required if total bid price exceeds $50,000.00: The bid security (5% of bid amount) submitted with this bid shall be a bid bond from a surety that is authorized to issue bonds in the State of Missouri; or a certified check or cashier's check payable to the City of Wentzville If the Contractor's Bid is in excess of $50,000.00, the Contractor shall also furnish within ten (10) days of notification of contract award a satisfactory Performance Bond in the full amount of the Contract Sum. The Performance Bond furnished shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Work and warrant the Work for the guarantee period established in this City-Contractor Agreement If the Contractor's Bid is in excess of $50,000.00, the Contractor shall furnish within ten (10) days of notification of contract award a satisfactory Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract Sum. The Payment Bond furnished shall meet all requirements of Section 107.170 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, as amended, and shall guarantee the payment of any and all materials, incorporated, consumed or used in connection with the construction of such work, and all insurance premiums, both for compensation, and for all other kinds of insurance, said work, and for all labor performed in such work whether by subcontractor or otherwise, including payment of prevailing wage requirements of the State of Missouri The City reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all bids, or portions thereof, to waive technicalities or deficiencies in any or all the bids. The City of Wentzville reserves the right to cancel this IFB in part or in its entirety. This IFB does not commit the City of Wentzville to award a contract or to pay any costs to bidders in preparation of their bid.
