The Board of Education of School District No. 35 (Langley) invites Responses from General Contractors to qualify for any Capital Construction Projects arising through December 31, 2022. The List may be extended for an additional two (2) years. Capital Projects may include renovations, seismic upgrades, classroom additions or new schools. Based on the review of the RFIQ responses, The Board of Education of School District No.35 (Langley) intends to establish a source List of Qualified General Contractors who, on an as, if and when requested basis, may be contacted directly, or asked to compete, to enter into a Contract(s) for the provision of the services. The School District may categorize Respondents into project dollar values or technical complexity, based on evaluation ranking. To qualify, Contractors are to demonstrate they have a minimum 5 years proven satisfactory experience in K-12 public sector construction. Additional requirements include financial credibility, name of bonding company and disclosure of bonding limits, ability to establish and maintain good working relationship with the facility/client, and the timely completion of project.
