Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Gresham, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

Work on this contract consists of approximately 800 linear feet of 10-inch diameter sanitary sewer replacement, 3350 linear feel of 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer replacement, manholes, and sewer laterals; 3350 linear feet of 8-inch diameter water main replacement, 850 linear feet of 6-inch diameter water main replacement, hydrants, and water services; 120 linear feet of 30-inch diameter storm sewer replacement; 3200 linear feet of curb and gutter; and 1700 linear feet of asphalt pavement replacement including base course; driveway aprons, and associated work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bids shall be on the forms provided for that purpose and per the Contract Documents prepared by CBS Squared Inc. identified as "Main Street and Fischer Street Improvements". A pre-bid conference will not be held. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders The Village of Gresham reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three (3) lowest bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. Bidders must submit a Bidders Proof of Responsibility in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders will be required to provide performance and payment bonds of 100 percent of bid amount. This Contract is expected to be funded in part with funds provided by the Wisconsin Department of Administration. Division of Energy. Housing and Community Resources, Community Development Block Grant-Public Facilities (CDBG-PF) and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP). Information on applicable federal requirements is contained in the Project Manual. Use of American Iron & Steel: Projects financed in whole or in part by the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program are required to use American iron and steel. Bid proposals may be denied if the requirements of this Section are not met. The successful bidder will be required to conform to the wage requirements prescribed by Section 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statues pertaining to municipal wage scales and the federal Davis-Bacon and Related Acts which requires that all laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and sub -contractors performing on contracts funded in whole or in part with federal funds in excess of $2,000 pay their laborers and mechanics not less than the prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits, as determined by the Secretary of Labor, for corresponding classes of laborers and mechanics employed on similar projects in the area. If the requirements of Davis Bacon, the State of Wisconsin and the Contract requirements conflict with regard to wages, the highest of the three shall apply. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. (CDBG Requirement). The Owner encourages DBEs, MBEs, WBEs, and SBRAs to submit Bid proposals. Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action requirements apply to this Project. The Village of Gresham reserves the right to reject any and all bids, without cause, to waive Irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interest of the Village of Gresham.
