Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Oceanside, California. Working plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Each Bid shall be accompanied by all documents required by the Bid Documents, including without limitation: (i) the security referred to in the Bid Documents; as well as Attachment "A"; and Attachments "C" through "O". Attachment "B" for the Project must be submitted by the Bidder within 48 hours of the Bid Opening Date. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and waive any minor irregularities or informalities in any Bids or in the Bid process. Any Bid may be withdrawn at any time prior to the scheduled closing time for receipts of Bids. The bid security for a Bid withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, in accordance with this paragraph, shall be returned. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of the Bids. Each Bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and shall be licensed in the following appropriate classification of contractor's license, for the work for which its Bid is submitted. The successful Bidder must maintain the appropriate and required license, in good standing, throughout the duration of the Contract -- B License. In contracts involving expenditure in excess of $25,000, the successful Bidder shall be required to file a Payment Bond issued by an admitted Surety approved to conduct business in the State of California approved by the District in the form set forth in the Bid Documents (Civil Code Sections 9550 through 9566). The successful Bidder shall also be required to file a Performance Bond issued by an admitted Surety approved to conduct business in the State of California approved by the District in the form set forth in the Bid Documents. Payment and Performance Bonds shall be submitted and approved by the District before any construction activity for the Project begins. The Director of Industrial Relations has determined the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the Contract, copies of which are on file and will be made available to any interested party upon request at the Facilities Office at the address and email address stated herein. It shall be mandatory upon the Contractor to whom the Contract is awarded, and upon any Subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the said specified rates to all workers employed by them in the execution of the Contract.
