City of Aventura Electrical Maintenance Services Bid Number 22-02-24-3 The work includes, but may not be limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, machinery and services for proper maintenance which for the purposes of this bid, shall include removal, replacement and installation of roadway, landscape and miscellaneous lighting and electrical maintenance and repair of all city facilities. Unit pricing will be established in the bid to allow the City to contract for repair and maintenance work on an as-needed basis. The City of Aventura reserves the right, for any reason, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality, irregularity or technicality in any bid, to re-advertise for bids, or take any other such actions that may be deemed to be in the best interests of the City. Pursuant to City Code Sec. 2-260 (Ordinance 2002-12), public notice is hereby given that a "Cone of Silence" is imposed concerning this City's' competitive purchasing process, which generally prohibits communications concerning the bid from the time of advertisement of the bid until the beginning of the City Commission meeting at which the City Manager makes a written recommendation to the City Commission concerning the competitive purchase transaction. Pursuant to Ordinance 2005-14; City Code Section 2-420, vendors of the City are prohibited from in any way providing campaign contributions to City commission candidates.
