The work to be bid on is as follows: WASTEWATER INFLUENT SCREEN -- supply Screen and related accessories in accordance with Request for Proposals. No bid may be withdrawn within 180 days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. The screen and compactor/conveyor equipment manufacturer shall warrant to the Owner against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year under normal use and service. Warranty shall be prorated. Manufacturer warranty shall be in published form. A copy of each warranty shall be provided to the Owner at startup. The proposal shall be made to the City of Spencer, Van Buren County, Tennessee and must be priced for Summer 2022. If accepted, the price contained within the proposal will be included as an allowance in the contract documents for construction of headworks improvements, with an anticipated bid date in the Summer of 2022. Engineer will adjust price for difference in the consumer price index as of the day the project is advertised for bids. Award to the winning contractor should be within 60 days of the proposal submission date. The selected manufacturer will be required to meet the design parameters given in Sections 1 and 2 above.
