Site work and paving for a civil project in Youngstown, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Program Work consists of resurfacing of various roads throughout the County. Replace the Beard Road Structure 11 and East Park side Drive structures with reinforced concrete box culverts. A certified check representing TEN percent (10%) of the proposal, drawn on a solvent bank, and payable to the Mahoning County Treasurer, or a bid bond in the sum of Ten percent (10%) of the proposal in lieu thereof must accompany each and every proposal as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into with the Board of County Commissioners, in the manner provided by law. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required after the award of the contract. No payment shall be made on any contract for which no such affidavit has been submitted. All Contractors must be pre-qualified with the Ohio Department of Transportation. Any contractor that does not meet this requirement will have their bid deemed non-responsive and cannot be awarded the contract. No bids may be withdrawn for at least sixty (60) days after the opening thereof. Failure to complete all forms contained in Bidding Documents may result in Bid being deemed irregular. The Board of Mahoning County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. The Engineer's Estimate is $2,612,581.60
