The Board of Mahoning County Commissioners intends to contract for Underwater Bridge Inspection Services on Four Mahoning County Bridges. The Underwater Bridge Inspection Services shall include performing a complete Level I underwater dive inspection on four (4) Mahoning County Bridges, performing a minimum of 10% Level II underwater dive inspection on the bridges (more if determined to be necessary), document the underwater cross section of the channel bottom, provide a report documenting each underwater dive, compare the new reports and channel bottom cross sections to the 2017 reports and channel bottom cross sections, provide conclusions and recommendations for any necessary repair work. As required by Ohio Revised Code Section(s) 153.64-71, responding firms will be evaluated and ranked in order based on their qualifications for Underwater Bridge Inspection Services. Letters of Interest shall include all information required by the ODOT Bridge Inspection Manual, 2014 and the Mahoning County Underwater Bridge Inspection Procedure, second revision dated January 2020 which is available in the News Flash Section of the Mahoning County Electronically. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
