Demolition and site work for a residential development in Lindsay, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

As of March 25,2022, the project was awarded to Resource Environmental, Inc. and the anticipated Start Date is on March 28, 2022. Budget: $225,000 A Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bidder's Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid made payable to the City of Lindsay will be required to accompany each proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the City of Lindsay with a "Performance Bond" in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract and a "Labor and Material Bond" in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Any contract entered into pursuant to this notice will incorporate the provisions of the State Labor Code. Compliance with the apprenticeship employment standards established by the State Director of Industrial Relations will be required. The Contractor and all Subcontractors shall comply with the requirements set forth in Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1 of the Labor Code. The District has obtained from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work in the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft, classification or type of worker needed to execute the Contract. These per diem rates, including holiday and overtime work, as well as employer payments for health and welfare, pension, vacation, and similar purposes, are on file at the District, and are also available from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations. Pursuant to California Labor Code section 1720 et seq., it shall be mandatory upon the Contractor to whom the Contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under such Contractor, to pay not less than the said specified rates to all workers employed by them in the execution of the Contract. The right is reserved by the City of Lindsay to reject any or all bids, to evaluate the bids submitted and to award the contract according to the proposal which best serves the interests of said City. The City will withhold five percent (5%) retention from payments due the Contractor until thirty-five (35) days after date of recording of the Notice of Completion. The Contractor may elect to receive one hundred percent (100%) of payments due under the contract by depositing securities of equivalent value with the City in accordance with the provisions of the California Government Code Section 4590. A time limit of Forty-Five (45) calendar days has been set for the completion of the work from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
