For questions concerning engineering details, contact Bill Sargent, Engineering Department (402) 504- 7665 Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check payable to the Metropolitan Utilities District in an amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the base bid, including unit price totals, drawn on a bank which is a member of the Federal Reserve System, or by a bid bond in a like amount on the form supplied by the District, and executed by a surety company authorized to engage in such business in the State of Nebraska. The District reserves the right to reject any or all the Proposals. Any Proposal which is incomplete, obscure, or irregular may be rejected. Any Proposal having erasures or corrections in the price may be rejected. Any Proposal accompanied by an insufficient or irregular certified check or bond may be rejected.
