Notice Content NOTICE TO BIDDERS - YORK TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES POWHATAN POINT, OHIO 43942 Sealed bids will be received by the York Township Trustees in Belmont County, Ohio, at the York Township Garage, 53420 York Drive, Powhatan Point, Ohio, 43942, until 5:00 P.M. (Local Time) on Thursday, February 17, 2022, for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and other incidentals and all tasks necessary for one bid covering the following (2) sites as part of York Township's OEMA 2020 Disaster Event: BEL-German Hill Road (Upper Site) and BEL-German Hill Road (Lower Site). Sealed bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud at 5:00 P.M. at the same York Township Garage. This project is to repair two (2) separate roadway embankment failures with drilled soldier-pile-and- concrete-lagging retaining walls and associated pavement repairs. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The York Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any bid or combination of bids which is deemed most favorable to the Township at the time and under the conditions stipulated. If the Trustees decide to move forward with an award, the Trustees further declare that they will award the contract within 10 days after bid opening to the lowest competent and responsible bidder, which may not necessarily be the lowest bid.
